Limited Edition ”Hennacat”s Cream 2012” is a very special henna – I”ve fallen lustily in love with this gorgeous powder and am delighted to be able to share it with you!

Currently my personal favourite for body art, this henna powder has a high dye content but with a superb light consistency more in keeping with Jamila henna powder. When I first mixed up this henna I wanted to eat it – it was just like whipped choclate cream – yummy! It smelt good enough to eat as well, but past experience of accidently getting henna in my mouth gave me enough self control not to go down that road! Instead I just enjoyed stirring this fluffy beauty and calculated how quickly I could get it on to some skin for testing. Then I realised that what I really wanted to do was put it straight on my hair so I mixed another batch straight away…

I wasn”t disappointed:

• Henna paste made with Hennacat”s Cream stays put, and doesn”t ”melt” – this means that you can do intricate mehndi with a better feeling of control and confidence.
• This henna has a much more stable consistency than other rajasthani hennas which can be very ”sticky” or ”elastic”.
• The henna is gently vacuum packed (not ferociously sucked into a hard brick that you need to break up).
• The light, fine texture means it rinses out of hair like a dream – perfect for even the most fragile hair.
• It has a dye content of 2.9% lawsone which is at the high end of what is currently available – it is slightly higher than Jamila 2012 (2.69) and slightly lower than my standard Organic Raj (3.2%)
• It has organic certification from the USDA  and Ecocert (More information available on these organic standards available here and here)

As well as being ”The One” this henna powder is also going to be  ”The one that is going to run out one day”.  I have limited stock of this product (not technically true…I have loads, but I want to keep it all) so when Hennacat”s Cream 2012 is gone, it is gone.

This henna is presented in a high quality foil sleeve, within which the henna is sealed in a seperate plastic pack. The date of manufacture is August 2012.
